Prosciutto Wrapped Figs

I’m always looking for new dishes to add to my tapas night, so when I came upon amazing looking figs at Trader Joe’s, I couldn’t resist. This recipe has the perfect amount of sweet and salty, and makes an incredible addition to a tapas night!

Prosciutto Wrapped Figs

Yield: 6 Servings

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

20 small figs, cut in half

4 oz. goat cheese

1 (3-ounce) package prosciutto

Toothpicks

How to Make It

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Cut a small hole in the center of the flesh of each fig. Fill each hole with goat cheese.
  3. Take a prosciutto slice and tear in half. Use 1 half to diagonally wrap around the fig to keep the cheese from spilling out (Secure with toothpicks if necessary.) Place wrapped figs on prepared baking sheet, evenly spaced.
  4. Place in the oven on the top rack and roast for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and serve immediately.
